About the Role
Darwin Hospital (RDPH) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Operating Theatre (Scrub/Scout) duties. The role involves assisting in surgical procedures, supporting anaesthetic teams, and providing perioperative care. Preference will be given to all-rounder nurses with flexibility across OT roles.
Requirements
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Minimum 3 years Operating Theatre experience
* Scrub and Scout experience required
* N2 competency or higher
* All-round OT skills preferred (ability to rotate between scrub, scout, and perioperative duties)
* Strong teamwork, clinical assessment, and perioperative skills

Role: Registered Nurse - OT (Scrub / Scout)
Start Date: 12/02/2026
End Date: 6-12 weeks from commencement

Placement Duration: Minimum 6 weeks, up to 12 weeks
On Call: As per roster

* Operating Theatres: Multiple surgical theatres supporting adults and paediatrics
* Flexible OT roles: Scrub, Scout, and perioperative assistance
