Electrical Engineering Expert for Power Quality Solutions
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Power Quality Specialist. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, commissioning, and optimizing Power Quality and Energy Management Systems (PQEMS) across our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
* System Design & Integration: Design and configure PQEMS solutions, integrating metering, communications, and automation systems, developing detailed engineering documentation including network architectures and data flow diagrams.
* Power Quality & Energy Performance: Analyze electrical systems to identify and mitigate harmonic distortion, unbalance, and power factor issues, performing system tuning, data validation, and optimization, generating detailed analytical and performance reports using PQEMS dashboards.
* Commissioning & Technical Support: Lead software installation, system commissioning, and customer acceptance testing, perform troubleshooting of metering communications and databases, deliver customer training, handover documentation, and ongoing technical support to ensure operational continuity.
* Governance & Continuous Improvement: Contribute to compliance-aligned documentation, governance workflows, and cybersecurity frameworks, support continuous improvement of power quality methodologies and internal knowledge sharing.

Requirements:
* A Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
* Demonstrated experience deploying or supporting Schneider PME or equivalent Power Quality platforms.
* Proven understanding of LV and MV power systems, harmonics, and energy management.
* Practical knowledge of power factor correction, STATCOMs, and harmonic mitigation.
* Strong report writing and analytical communication skills.
* A White Card and Driver's Licence.
