As a Geotechnical Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in understanding ground conditions and delivering high-quality solutions that support a range of exciting infrastructure projects. Your expertise will shape the future of our engineering solutions and ensure the success of client projects. This is a permanent full-time position paying $80,000 to $90,000 + 11.5% Superannuation.
The Opportunity
1. Communicate with clients and project engineers to understand and define project requirements.
2. Plan, specify, and manage site investigations and laboratory testing programs.
3. Develop site safety management plans and ensure compliance during investigation works.
4. Analyze field and laboratory data to provide accurate geotechnical analyses.
5. Prepare detailed geotechnical reports and contribute to the development of client relationships.
Is this role right for you?
1. A recognized tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering and eligibility for Chartership with Engineers Australia (or equivalent).
2. Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering design and industry-standard software such as LPile, Plaxis, and AutoCAD.
3. A minimum of 5 years' experience in geotechnical design and construction, with a focus on large infrastructure or buildings projects.
4. Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to deliver solutions under limited supervision.
5. A proactive and client-focused attitude, with the ability to foster positive relationships and support team development.
