Rostering to specific aspects of this role ensures you will gain experience in every facet of pre-analytical and post-analytical specimen handling and phlebotomy, in- and out-patient collections as part of a local and state-wide team.Lithgow Laboratory is the base for collections for Lithgow Hospital, Lithgow out-patients and Portland Collections. Provide a high-quality healthcare service to all referrers and consumers. Perform venepuncture and other duties pertaining to specimen collection, as well as data entry, processing, and delivery into sites for pathology investigations as required.Perform clinical duties to a high degree of accuracy to ensure the highest quality of patient care in a hospital and out-patient setting. Correctly identify patients and process specimens according to established procedures while supporting colleagues, maintaining supplies and stock, keeping records and upholding RITE values of NSW Health Pathology.Interested in joining Australia’s largest public pathology service?
