Position Summary: Provide support to clients in accordance with their NDIS plan. Assist clients with daily living activities, such as eating, dressing, bathing and grooming. Provide transportation assistance to clients. Provide respite care to clients and their families. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of clients' care plans and progress. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other members of the care team. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of clients. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest developments and best practices in the NDIS field.
Responsibilities

Requirements
* Amenable to start ASAP
* A valid Blue Card & Yellow Card.
* Certificate 3 or 4 in individual support or willingness to work towards completion (highly regarded).
* Lived experience or paid experience working with people with disability.
* Open availability – day shift, night shifts, sleepovers and weekends.
* Prior experience working with Child Safety clients, or willingness to work with one.
* Prior experience working with mental health, or willingness to work with one.
* At least high school, or equivalent.
* Strong understanding of NDIS and its guidelines.
* Understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Ability to work with a diverse client base, understanding different support needs based on abilities, cultural backgrounds, and language requirements.
* Basic care and first aid skills.
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA without restrictions.
