Zylo has teamed up exclusively with a well-regarded, Gold Coast based law firm with a strong reputation for providing exceptional legal services. We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior to Mid-Level Lawyer to join their Commercial Litigation and Insolvency team.
Role Purpose:
The successful candidate will play a key role in handling a diverse range of commercial litigation and insolvency matters. You will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice and representation to their clients, while contributing to the growth and development of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial litigation and insolvency issues.
Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and correspondence.
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
Manage case files and deadlines effectively.
Collaborate with colleagues and clients to achieve optimal outcomes.
Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and strategies.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor of Law degree and admission to the legal profession in Australia.
Experience in commercial litigation and insolvency law.
Strong understanding of commercial law principles and procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Desired Skills and Attributes:
Experience in handling insolvency-related matters, including liquidation, administration, and receivership.
Knowledge of dispute resolution processes, such as mediation and arbitration.
