Motor Mechanic Hervey Bay
We are a tour company based in Hervey Bay, that is looking for a self motivated person to join our workshop team.
The successful candidate should be able to work unsupervised and have a broad knowledge of vehicle repair procedures, and be able to diagnose problems in our tour vehicle fleet, then carry out repairs
Applicants should have Formal mechanical qualifications or equivalent industry experience in vehicle repairs.
Fabrication, welding and fitting are desired attributes.
Current driver's license a must, LR or above would be highly regarded.
The hours are flexible and can be negotiated to suit the right person.
Key Responsibilities and criteria
* Perform Pre departure safety checks of tour vehicles and scheduled maintenance.
* Carryout repair work to maintain fleet in operating condition
* Good time management skills with the ability to work independently.
* Customer & Safety Focused.
* High-level communication skills.
* Proven ability to work in a team environment.
* Fill out workshop cards detailing work and parts consumed on vehicle servicing
* Test Drive a tour vehicle after servicing
* Reporting to the Workshop Manager
