Based in our high performing Building Structures team, this is an excellent opportunity for an established structural engineer, with strong Australian market knowledge, to join an internationally acclaimed, premier consulting firm operating in over 150 countries. Key responsibilities include: Leading the delivery of building structures projects including management of delivery teams. Driving technical development and keeping up to date with new technologies and international trends. Providing technical and project leadership to staff. Mentoring and coaching junior engineers and designers. Fostering client relationships. Leading input into tenders and bids. Business development. Minimum Requirements As a Director in our Building Structures team, you will focus on leading the delivery of our high quality, bespoke projects which require oversight of project teams and ownership of client relationships. You will collaborate with a number of internal and external clients and will be involved in key stakeholder engagement processes, contributing to the growth of our business. You will be a dynamic and highly driven individual who is excited about working in a team with no glass ceilings and be someone who enjoys people management. You will be working closely with our Melbourne Practice Lead, the wider Australian and New Zealand structural teams and our global technical practice network. We are ideally looking for candidates with innovative and client focused thinking, a sound knowledge of the Australian Building market and a proven network across varied industry connections while having a clear capability in leading people and teams in technical engineering environments. Preferred Qualifications As part of a multidisciplined global engineering consultancy, you will be part of, and lead, major buildings projects while partnering with key clients in Healthcare, Education, Infrastructure, Defence and Aviation sectors. Therefore, a strong understanding and experience of multidisciplinary projects is highly advantageous.
