Sales Engineer - Agribusiness and Mining Expert
We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in a key role promoting and selling high-performance materials and tools within the Agribusiness and Mining sectors.
Key Performance Areas:
* The successful candidate will be responsible for developing individual sales plans, achieving sales targets by executing these plans, and providing technical advice and guidance to customers in respective markets and applications.
Key customer focus areas will include Toolmakers, Mining OEM and Aftermarket Manufacturing, and General Engineering markets where moderate to extreme wear resistance is paramount.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, leveraging these relationships to expand and grow a new customer base.
* Providing customers with expert advice on selecting appropriate tooling and products.
* Updating and owning CRM data, managing the sales funnel, and submitting reports on sales activities and area development.
* Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge of the Hyperion Products range.
* Staying updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings.
* Ensuring adherence to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications: A minimum trade background is required, bringing technical aptitude with good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at various levels. Additionally, working knowledge of material science in Cemented Carbide or Synthetic Diamond is desirable.
