Job Title: Competitions Co-ordinator
The role is central to the success of our netball competitions and events.
1. Supervise evening netball competitions, ensuring venues are set up correctly, scoresheets are printed and submitted on time, timekeeping is accurate, umpires are liaised with, and any issues on court are handled promptly.
2. Coordinate umpire and volunteer rosters, communicate effectively with volunteers, monitor attendance, and prepare remuneration timesheets.
3. Support the canteen coordinator during winter competition by managing stock, liaising with suppliers, coordinating volunteer canteen rosters, and providing general administrative support.
4. Help coordinate coaching clinics, including scheduling venues, managing registrations, liaising with coaches/volunteers, handling logistics, and providing on-site support when needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, ability to multitask across multiple areas.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable communicating with volunteers, umpires, coaches, participants, committee members and suppliers.
* Ability to work independently, showing initiative and reliability, with a proactive and flexible mindset.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable using databases, roster systems or similar tools.
* A customer-service focused approach and appreciation for working within a community sports environment.
