About the Role
Jukawalyi Resources Pty Ltd is a Pilbara-based, Aboriginal-owned business established in 2018 by members of the Njamal traditional ownership group. We provide services to the mining and civil sector across the region, with facilities in Perth and Port Hedland. We work closely with mining companies, contractors and subcontractors to deliver quality outcomes and maximise Indigenous participation and opportunities.
The Role
The Operations Administrator will work closely with the Operations Manager to provide support across freight operations, procurement, asset coordination, HR administration and facility management. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Booking freight consignments and coordinate transport requirements
* Create and manage job cards
* Prepare quotes and support invoicing processes
* Maintain accurate freight and job records
* Generate reports and assist with system administration
Procurement & Purchasing Support
* Assist with procurement of goods and services, including issuing RFQs
* Prepare and issue purchase orders
* Monitor and track procurement activities and deliveries
* Maintain supplier documentation, delivery note and filing
Data & Document Management
* Maintain databases and ensure records are accurate and accessible
* Compile information for reports, dashboards, and presentations
Human Resource Administration
* Maintain HR system (HR Brite), forms and registers
* Support onboarding administration and employee documentation
* Assist with timesheets and mobilisations / induction requirements
Asset & Maintenance Coordination
* Maintain registers and inventory for plant, equipment, vehicles and tools
* Coordinator servicing, repairs and maintenance with suppliers and vendors
* Support scheduling of plant and asset maintenance
Facility & Accommodation Administration
* Manage accommodation bookings and maintain accurate registers
* Liaise with occupants regarding accommodation matters and enquiries
* Co-ordinate cleaning, maintenance and repairs to a high standard
About You
We are looking for a proactive, organised and detail-oriented Administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment. Ideally, you will have:
* A minimum of 2+ years\' experience in an administration, operations or logistics role (ideally within freight, transport, mining or civil services)
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Confident communication skills and a professional, customer focused approach
* High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn internal systems quickly
* Experience using freight/transport management system preferred
* Experience using INX, Enable, Sam Workflow & Fiori highly regarded
* A positive attitude, reliability and willingness to take ownership of tasks
* Ability to work independently while also supporting a small team environment
* Strong discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
* This role is based in Port Hedland and is suited to candidates currently residing locally
