We're inviting applications for a permanent (0.5 FTE) Staff Specialist position in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Wollongong Hospital. The role is a permanent part time (0.5 FTE) appointment with salary range $197,583 - $243,822 plus 11.5% super and salary packaging.

About the Department
* A busy birthing suite with approximately 3,800 births per year
* A wide range of obstetrics and gynaecology services
* A collaborative and supportive work environment with an excellent midwifery team
* The O&G medical team comprises Staff Specialists and VMOs, Trainees, SRMOs, and RMOs, providing strong multidisciplinary support
This role is primarily based at Wollongong Hospital, with occasional work at other locations across the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District as required. The Obstetrician and Gynaecologist will provide expert medical assessment and management within the O&G service, practising within the scope granted by the Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee. You will deliver specialist care to emergency patients, inpatients, and outpatients, ensuring the provision of high-quality O&G services across the ISLHD.

Qualifications and Requirements
* Applicable vaccination requirements for Category A
* Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* Current AHPRA Registration and Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG)
* Valid NSW Driver's Licence
