Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland provides high-quality care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, stretching from Ingham in the North, Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West, to Palm Island in the East. We have grown to include 6 Early Learning Centres, 9 Kindergartens, and 14 Outside School Hours Care centres.
Columba Kindergarten and Care in Charters Towers offers long day-care for children aged 3-5 through a Queensland Government-approved Kindergarten program. We also provide before and after school care, as well as vacation care for children attending our school and the broader community.
About the position
Columba Kindergarten and Care are currently seeking a Diploma Qualified (or working towards) Casual Educator to join our vibrant team. This position will commence as soon as practicable, between the hours of 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, involving a variety of shifts.

What you'll need to succeed:
* Diploma (completed, or working towards) in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (Education Support, studying Bachelor of Education or similar qualifications approved under ACECQA)
* Understanding and knowledge of the National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place Framework
* Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
* Current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis, or ability to obtain before commencement
* Ability to learn new systems and child care management software
* The ability to work effectively in a close-knit team environment
