The Country Development Manager is responsible for driving market expansion and business growth in the assigned Southeast Asian country. This role involves developing and executing strategic plans to increase market share, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying new business opportunities in the power and electrical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement country-specific market entry and expansion strategies.
- Identify and establish relationships with key clients, contractors, and partners.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with the technical teams to ensure alignment with market needs.
- Monitor and report on market performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or marketing within the power or electrical, utility Or manufacture industry.
- Strong understanding of the Southeast Asian market and regulatory environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Fluency in English and the local language of the assigned country.
