The role
Based in Braeside, this composites manufacturer produces custom‐made components, with every product uniquely designed and built. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Tradesperson to join their close‐knit team, assisting in the production of high‐quality composite products.
This position begins as an on‐hired role, working Monday to Thursday 7:00am‐3:30pm and Friday 7:00am‐1:00pm. The successful candidate will be considered for a permanent position following a successful probation period.
Key Duties
- Read and interpret technical drawings and designs
- Use a variety of hand and power tools
- Work with fibreglass and carbon fibre materials
- Carry out painting and spray painting tasks
- Perform general factory and workshop duties as required
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a trade or hands‐on manufacturing role
- Strong technical aptitude and problem‐solving ability
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop skills
- Experience with laminating and fibreglass highly regarded
