 
        
        Overview 
Deputy Residential Manager role at Southern Cross Care NSW/ACT. Full-time position from 9 am - 5:06 pm, Monday to Friday (76 hrs per fortnight). Location: Mawson Court Residential Aged Care, Caves Beach, Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT). 
Responsibilities 
Provide a caring environment that enhances the security, welfare and wellbeing of residents through planning and directing the provision of a range of high quality personal and clinical care. 
Lead the care of residents in a manner consistent with quality and respect, while mentoring the care team. 
Contribute positively to teamwork to achieve operational outcomes and promote a positive SCC workplace culture in alignment with SCC Values, Mission and Vision. 
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient workflow. 
Comply with and contribute to Work Health and Safety policies and procedures. 
Requirements 
Degree in Nursing or tertiary qualifications in Aged Care. 
Experience in a relieving leadership/supervisory role. 
Good interpersonal and written English communication skills. 
Ability to play an active and positive role as part of the Care Team, providing quality care to frail aged people. 
Understanding of relevant State and Commonwealth legislation as it applies to Aged Care Facilities. 
Understanding of, and the ability to apply, relevant principles of the Fair Work Act.
