Audiology Position
We are seeking a dedicated Audiologist or Audiometrist to join our dynamic team, offering a permanent position with flexible working arrangements.
This role involves assessing and diagnosing client hearing loss using various techniques, including audiometric tests.
The successful candidate will report assessment results and make referrals to medical practitioners as necessary.
They will also recommend solutions for clients with hearing impairment, including amplification, implantable devices, medical interventions, and assistive listening devices.
The Audiologist will provide counseling, advice, and information to clients and families as part of overall treatment, in addition to assisting with noise control and hearing conservation strategies.
Treating and managing hearing and communication disorders related to age, disability, or injury/disease is another key aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and diagnose client hearing loss using various techniques
* Report assessment results and make referrals to medical practitioners

Requirements:
* University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification
* Current membership (CCP) or eligibility for membership (CCP) of AudA or ACAud
* Current QP number
* Solid audiological skills and knowledge
* Excellent customer care and service skills, and a passion for delivering an amazing client experience
* Ability to learn new software with training
* Proven ability to achieve KPIs
* Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
* Commitment to continued professional development
* Good team working skills
* Ability to network with GPs and other allied health professionals
