Seeking a passionate Commis Chef to assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in crafting high-quality, handmade products. Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting the senior culinary team
* Crafting sandwiches using premium ingredients
* Making condiments, jams, and pickles for retail sale
* Following recipes to maintain high standards
* Ensuring meals are produced on time
* Maintaining stock levels of all kitchen supplies
* Receiving and storing stock correctly
* Working cooperatively with all departments
* Cleaning and maintaining all kitchen space and equipment
Required skills and qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Commis Chef
* Minimum 1-2 year kitchen experience
* Ability to commute or relocate to Bayswater
* Work authorisation in Australia
