This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, ****. Eastern Goldfields College is a progressive Independent Public School catering for students in Year 11 and 12. We encourage students to take ownership of their learning and achieve their very best.
The College shares facilities with Central Regional TAFE (Kalgoorlie campus) and the WA School of Mines (WASM). Our vision is for students to achieve high academic, vocational, and social standards by fully embracing the opportunities provided by this co-located site.
The Role

We are seeking a motivated applicant with a passion for teaching Mathematics at the secondary level, possessing a solid understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum. In your role as a Mathematics Teacher, you will:
deliver a curriculum tailored to the diverse needs of all students, fostering an environment where every student is empowered to reach their full potential;
demonstrate academic excellence and high-quality teaching and learning;
build strong relationships with students and contribute to shaping and promoting the school's values, ethos, and priorities.

Teachers and School Administrators employed at Eastern Goldfields College in **** are eligible to receive a temporary $***** (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro-rata for FTE and tenure). Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to receive the second payment.
Mobility Appointments for Permanent Metropolitan and South-West Teachers
Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school, may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position.
At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
Note that south-west teachers are not eligible to move to another south-west school under this trial.
