As our Team Manager – Residential Care, you'll ensure the delivery of high-quality care that reflects our values, providing leadership to a team working with young people who have experienced trauma, mental health challenges, and/or intellectual disabilities. You'll foster an inclusive culture, build strong connections, and lead by example to guide young people towards their best futures.
What You'll Be Doing
* Leading and supporting a dedicated team to provide safe, high-quality residential care for young people
* Ensuring the day-to-day operations of the Residential Care house run smoothly and effectively
* Promoting therapeutic, strengths-based care approaches and embedding them into everyday practices
* Collaborating with case managers, external partners, and your team to develop and implement care plans that meet the young people's goals and aspirations
* Driving team development, professional growth, and creating a positive, values-led team culture
* Actively contributing to program development and continuous improvement initiatives
What You Bring
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Community Services, Disability, or similar fields
* Strong leadership experience, including the ability to manage and support a team in complex care environments
* Deep understanding of trauma-informed care, strengths-based approaches, and person-centred practice
* Ability to assess risks, manage challenging situations, and provide crisis support
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a non-judgmental, empathetic approach
* A proven track record of fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
