Job Summary
This is a leadership role responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping department.
* Previous experience in FIFO Housekeeping is essential.
* Proven leadership skills and ability to implement service standards are required.
* Responsibilities include ensuring Occupational Health and Safety, Hygiene, Environmental and Quality Standards are met by staff.
* Manage department budgets and assist with recruitment and selection processes.
* Provide training, performance evaluations and counselling to staff.
* Interface with Front Office and other managers as required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with site staff and senior executives.
* Ensure a safe and customer-focused working environment through coordinated efforts with team members.
* Develop polished presentation and communication abilities for interacting with senior executives and external representatives.
* Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate is required.
* Knowledge of flight and accommodation systems is desirable.
* Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one and medical fitness for pre-employment medical assessment are necessary.
