The Role
* Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries, stock levels and equipment registers.
* Coordinate yard logistics, including storage, maintenance and dispatch of materials and plant.
* Issue materials and consumables to site teams and maintain usage records.
* Work closely with site supervisors and PMs to plan ahead and prevent downtime.
* Liaise with suppliers, handle dockets and keep accurate records.
* Ensure safety and compliance across the yard and store.
* Prevent shortages or overstocking by planning ahead and staying organised.
The Criteria
* Experience in stock control, warehousing or yard management within the construction or civil industry.
* Organised and practical, with strong attention to detail and a common-sense approach.
* Comfortable dealing with site crews, suppliers and delivery drivers - calm, clear and reliable under pressure.
* Takes ownership and pride in their work, keeps the yard tidy, labelled and running like clockwork.
