**The Role - Senior Project Engineer**
This is a senior role with an excellent opportunity to join an excelling and growing team in the Civil Area. The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for driving and executing high level projects for the company. This role will engage in all touch points of the project's life cycle, ensuring scope, estimates, budgets and timelines are adhered to.
**Key responsibilities of the role include, but not limited to**:
- Estimate Council construction projects ranging in value between $500K to $4M, this includes identifying, assessing, and evaluating risks and opportunities**.**:
- Lead, manage and be responsible for the overall outcomes and performance of all construction projects.
- Working closely with Site Foreman, Project Engineers and subcontractors in ensuring projects are completed within the allocated budgets and timeframes.
- Effectively advise and assist in the planning, design, project management, monitoring, auditing, and renewal of council or other projects**.**:
- Assess flaws in designs and come up with quick and practical solutions to problems and maximize all opportunities to increase profits**.**:
- Creating frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data
- collection.
**You and Requirements**
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar qualification.
- Minimum 5 years' experience managing contractor side civil construction Projects (contractors side).
- Proficiency with Project Management functions such as project budget maintenance, project schedule maintenance, and project resources planning.
- Experience seeing projects through the full end-to-end cycle.
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outline scope, budget, and timeline.
- Proven ability to lead a team of Project Engineers and civil workers
- Superior planning and organizational skills, and strong leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively and use initiative to resolve issues.
- Hold a valid Driver's License (as regular travel to sites is required in FMCV)
