Salary: starting from $81,396 (depending on experience) + 15.4% superannuation
Contract: Temporary, 12 month role

The Team
The Information and Knowledge Resource Centre (IKRC) provides ASIC teams with authoritative information, records, intelligence, and knowledge services to support compliance and strategic innovation. Within the Registry & Intelligence group, Intelligence Support delivers operational assistance for enforcement and regulatory activities by sourcing intelligence through authorised data searches, helping drive ASIC's intelligence-led regulatory approach.
The Role
As An Information Analyst, You Will
* Provide tactical intelligence to enforcement and regulatory teams, ensuring compliance with national policies and privacy requirements, including occasional after-hours availability.
* Conduct complex national searches across ASIC's intelligence sources, meeting SLA timeframes.
* Analyse and summarise data into accurate, actionable intelligence reports.
* Liaise with external agencies to access confidential information under existing agreements and MoUs.
* Advise stakeholders on handling sensitive intelligence and information management.
* Maintain records of all searches to support reporting and compliance audits.
* Collaborate with internal teams to define requirements and build strong working relationships.
* Contribute to process improvements and national IRC projects.
About You
You will also demonstrate:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in law enforcement, legal, accounting, financial services, or government.
* Interest in analysing complex data and applying legislation and procedures to deliver insights.
* Skilled in using multiple software systems, including Microsoft Office and databases.
* Strong written and verbal communication, with proven problem-solving and analytical abilities.
* Collaborative mindset with a focus on building positive stakeholder relationships.
