ABOUT THE ROLE:
As part of the Tony White Group, Peninsula Dealer Group is the biggest automotive dealership group on the Peninsula located in the beautiful Bayside, south-east of Melbourne.
We have an exciting opportunity for a keen and energetic Automotive Parts Interpreter to join our enthusiastic and collaborative team at Mornington Ford and Kia. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a passion for motor vehicles to build a career with our group.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Accurately and efficiently interpret parts & accessories required by customers
* Ordering & quoting parts for Retail, trade & internal customers
* Building and maintaining rapport, loyalty & support
* Prioritised Receiving, checking, inspecting for damage and unpacking of stock
* Invoicing & delivery of orders to customers
* Warehousing, cleaning & a focus on safety
* Consulting catalogues
* Carrying out storage and stock control procedures
* Materials handling
* Customer advice
* Completing sales representative rounds to customers
* Receiving and filling orders for parts
* Maintaining a safe workplace
* Assist in all areas of parts Department when required
* Demonstrate behaviours that align with company policies, and organisational values.
* Contribute to building a positive team spirit
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
* Driver’s Licence
* Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential)
* Competent with computers
* Excellent interpersonal skills with clear and professional communication.
* Good organisation skills.
* Previous experience in dealership parts operations (desirable but not essential)
