Responsibilities
* Perform scaling, root planning, polishing procedures, desensitizing agents, occlusal sealants and anti-cariogenic agents
* Provide oral hygiene instructions, nutritional counselling and smoking cessation
* Conduct periodontal examinations and record clinical findings
* Take and dictate findings of digital radiographs
* Provide administrative support such as updating patient databases, scheduling programs, and maintaining patient records
Qualifications
* Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
* Registered within the province of British Columbia
* A certificate in the administration of local anesthetics
* CPR or BLS certificate
Additional Requirements
* You will be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level
Compensation details: $58-$62/hr, benefits and paid vacation.
