Registered Nurse Mental Health Recovery Centre
This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata’d to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under theNSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.

What you'll be doing
* Work in collaboration with consumers, carer’s and other team members to provide individualised, evidence based 24-hour care to mental health inpatients.
* Where required, all nursing positions are expected to be able to work across all components of the health service including different areas of inpatient, medical and community-based services.

How to apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible.
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Demonstrated experience working with mental health consumers including those with co-morbidities –inpatient experience preferred with demonstrated ability to interpret and apply the Mental Health Act 2007.
* Demonstrated application of evidence based practice for the delivery of individualised patient care within a multi-disciplinary team, with a commitment to person centred care, reduction of seclusion and restraint, recovery model of care.
* Demonstrated commitment to work and partner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and families and employees to enhance health outcomes.
* Evidence of participation in own professional development and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
* Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team and intermediate computer skills.
