As the Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services, you will provide expert strategic, operational and professional leadership across Logan and Beaudesert Health Service, ensuring safe, high-quality and person-centred care.
* Lead and govern all nursing and midwifery practice as the single point of accountability across the health service.
* Drive strategic and operational performance, workforce planning, and service delivery aligned with Metro South Health priorities.
* Partner with the executive team to strengthen clinical and corporate governance, quality improvement and NSQHS outcomes.
* Champion education, research, innovation and contemporary models of care to enhance patient outcomes and workforce capability.
About you
You are an accomplished Nursing and Midwifery leader with a strong executive presence and a passion for excellence in healthcare delivery.
* Nurse/Midwife with extensive senior leadership experience in complex, multi-site health services.
* Demonstrated expertise in nursing and midwifery governance, workforce strategy, and operational and financial management.
* Proven ability to lead change, influence at executive level, and collaborate across multidisciplinary and system-wide stakeholders.
* A values-driven leader who promotes professional excellence, continuous improvement, research and person-centred care.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
