In this role you will: Manage a diverse file load of personal injury insurance claims under both the workers' compensation and PIPA frameworks Take the lead with your own advocacy at compulsory conferences Prepare Reasons for Decisions in statutory workers' compensation matters under supervision Receive mentoring and support from multiple senior practitioners and Partners, giving you exposure to a variety of styles and expertise About you You're a motivated legal practitioner with 3–5 years' PAE, with experience in either Queensland workers' compensation or defendant insurance, and a passion for pursuing a career in insurance litigation.
Experience with complex and sensitive matters, such as institutional liability or historical abuse claims, will be highly regarded.
