The Role
In this fast-paced role, you will oversee Configuration Management (CM) tasks across the engineering team, adhering to company CM plans and processes.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensure the defined configuration management process (CMP) for projects is implemented and maintained throughout the life of projects/products.
* Ensure the correct capture of configuration information/changes within CM tools.
* Develop training on the CM system and provide ongoing training and support to the engineering team.
* Regularly report CM status.
* Prepare, organise and participate in system audits.
* Implement, upgrade and maintain engineering tools to provide the engineering team with the required functionality.
* Assist with improving, maintaining and deploying engineering processes to the wider team.

To be successful in this role you will need:
* Working knowledge of configuration management principles, and practices (ideally 2 + years experience).
* Demonstrated experience in deploying engineering applications and database management.
* Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook.
* Familiarity with engineering or technical documentation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Self-motivated, adaptable and results driven.
* Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Capability to train others on CM tools
* Experience in customising and administering Siemens Teamcentre (desirable)
* Experience in back-end updates to Siemens Teamcentre, facilitating business specific engineering data processing and management (desirable).
Supplementary requirements
* Driver's License, preferred.
* Ability to pass required background checks, including Australian National Police clearance check.
* All candidates must have the right to live and work in Australia on a permanent basis, to be considered for this role.
