**Construction Technical Support Manager - Grain and Protein**
**Who We Are Looking For**:
The Construction Technical Support Manager will oversee the delivery of GSI projects as a site representative to ensure customer satisfaction through the quality control of equipment installation in a timely and efficient manner. The job holder will provide the interface between the company and distribution network for matters relating to the delivery of projects and current orders. He/She will also provide technical support to sales managers.
**What You Will Do**:
- Ensure that projects are run as efficiently as possible on site, completed to end users satisfaction with final end user sign off.
- Co-ordinate and mobilise onsite construction crews (often at multiple sites). This will include regular site meetings between constructions crews, regulators as appropriate, end users and other stakeholders.
- Manage after-sales support processes for customers to ensure any rectifications that are required are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Manage the onsite unpacking of freight to oversee and manage equipment condition upon arrival, ensure materials are not damaged during unpacking processes, oversee and manage short shipments as they arise.
- Timely submission of project reporting to management.
- In conjunction with H.O. resources, co-ordinate and arrange suitable information is communicated an understood to on-site construction teams to allow timely and accurate completion of projects, primarily design drawings and installation process information.
- Problem solve and report technical issues as they arise.
- Technical support for sales managers during the pre-sales process.
- Carry out all duties in accordance with Federal and State laws and in line with Company Policies and Procedures, whenever applicable.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
**What You Will Bring**:
- Practical experience in construction industry
- rural experience advantageous.
- Experience in managing construction teams.
- Basic understanding of ANZ building codes advantageous including council compliance/permits/consents processes.
- Project Management experience or qualifications considered advantageous.
- Computer literacy.
- High attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
**A Plus If You Have**:
- Minimum Level of Education Required for position : Associate's/Technical Degree in Construction, project management, engineering, intensive animal production
- Moderate/reasonable - Requires good analytical skills as well as evaluative judgement based on the analysis of factual and qualitive information in complicated or novel situations. Multiple sources of information refer to a diverse range of internal and external sources such as procedures and practices in other areas, team, companies etc. The ability to filter, prioritize, analyze and validate potentially complex and dynamic material.
**Who You Are**:
- 6 - 8 years of business experience required.
- Training or Certification required for C-Lines building construction methodology.
- Travel is required approximately 51 - 75%.
