As one of our Mental Health Clinicians, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based psychological interventions tailored to each person's mental health needs and goals. This model allows for more frequent and flexible client contact, with in-reach (centre-based) services and access to on-site complementary supports as needed. It's a role with complexity and reward and is ideal for a Clinical Psychologist, Psychologist, Mental Health Accredited Social Worker, or Mental Health Nurse ready to make a difference in their community.

This is a permanent part-time role working around 60 hours per fortnight (including weekend work) and reporting into the Clinical Lead.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities

* Work with all members of the team to develop a shared change plan clearly articulating each team member's specific responsibilities
* Conduct clinical assessments and collaboratively develop case formulations and treatment plans for people with moderate, severe, and complex mental health difficulties
* Conduct risk assessments and develop thorough and practical risk management plans
* Deliver individualised, evidence-based psychological interventions and provide client‑centred care to people, incorporating family and significant others where appropriate.
* Attend case review meetings and participate in individual supervision, peer reflection and team meetings


About you

Are you a professional, innovative, and caring clinician who thrives as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and enjoys working with a wide range of external stakeholders involved in providing health, mental health, and psychosocial services?


We're also looking for

* Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, nursing or other clinical discipline related to mental health and registration with the appropriate professional body such as AHPRA or AASW.
* Experience working with peoples' mental health and well‑being, leading to the provision of inclusive and high‑quality therapeutic services, with a solution and change based focus
* Skills and experience in the assessment, formulation, diagnosis, and provision of evidence‑based psychological treatments of mental health disorders
* Experience conducting risk assessments of people and developing and implementing risk management plans, including delivery of crisis intervention
* Highly developed interpersonal communication and decision‑making skills, coupled with the ability to involve other staff actively and appropriately, clients, their families, and significant others in the delivery of service where appropriate
* Specialist training in the assessment and treatment of severe mental health disorders such as Personality Disorders, Eating Disorders or Post‑Traumatic Stress Disorder is desirable

* Current Driver Licence
* Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or ability to hold one
* Current Police Check
