Role Summary:
As a Social Media Creator & Manager, you'll be the creative force behind The Careers Department's digital presence. You'll conceptualise, produce, and distribute compelling content across social and marketing channels—including EDMs, in-app messaging, and platform collateral—aligning with our brand voice and goals (Call Center Job).
Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Development:
Conceptualise and execute engaging content tailored to different platforms and audiences. Produce a mix of content types—from social media posts to graphics, short videos, email campaigns, and app notifications.
Content Execution & Scheduling:
Plan an integrated content calendar across social, EDMs, and platform messaging. Manage timely distribution and adapt strategies based on platform best practices.
Brand & Voice Consistency:
Familiarise yourself with The Careers Department's brand tone and aesthetic (explore at The Careers Department website). Ensure all content is on-brand and emotionally resonant.
Performance Tracking & Optimization:
Monitor content performance using analytics (engagement, reach, click-throughs). Refine content strategy based on performance insights and platform trends.
Collaboration & Communication:
Partner with the marketing team to align campaigns and messaging. Adapt content for different channels (text, visuals, short videos) while maintaining core messaging.
Requirements
Proven Experience:
Demonstrated experience in social media management and content creation—especially for digital campaigns or marketing platforms.
Creative & Technical Skills:
Strong copywriting and visual storytelling abilities; familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing apps.
Strategic Thinking:
Ability to ideate content that's both creative and strategic—designed to engage target audiences and meet business objectives.
Analytics Mindset:
Comfortable using metrics to measure success and iterate on content plans.
