Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct physical, chemical and microbial testing to ensure products meet quality standards.
* Identify and report any out-of-specification results and take corrective action according to documented procedures.
* Perform record control verification and identify non-conformities.
* Coordinate product release and return of non-conforming products from external warehouses.
Working Conditions: This is a variable hours role with shifts including day, night, weekends and 12-hour shifts. You will be given as much notice as possible for upcoming shifts but must be willing to work flexibly.
Requirements:
* Qualifications or working towards qualifications in Food Science or Science-related field.
* Understanding of food safety and quality management systems.
* Strong attention to detail and adaptability.
* Well-developed laboratory practices with high proficiency and accuracy.
* Intermediate-level computer skills.
