Job Description
Our organization is seeking a Permanent Residential Care Youth Worker to join our team in Wonthaggi and Bass Coast. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing care and support to vulnerable youth aged 12 to 17.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build positive relationships with young people and colleagues
* Transport young people to and from school, day programs, and appointments
* Participate in activities and enjoy mealtimes together
* Assist in implementing programs designed for growth and development of young people
* Complete summary notes and maintain a safe and homely environment
Required Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or a recognised relevant qualification
* A current Working with Children Check
* A current First Aid Certificate
* A National Police Check
* An International Police Check (if applicable)
* A current driver's license
* The willingness to participate in a Worker/Carer Exclusion Scheme Check
* A current NDIS Worker Check
