**The Service**
**KU Ourimbah Preschool and Children's Centre **is located on the beautiful grounds of the Central Coast Campus, University of Newcastle. KU Ourimbah caters for children aged up to 6 years of age, Monday to Friday between 7am and 6pm.
At KU Ourimbah, the educators proudly incorporate nature pedagogy into their program through immersing children in nature which allows the children the opportunity to connect with the natural world, to solve problems in a landscape that is not uniform and offers challenges, inspiration, beauty, unpredictability and interest.
Along with this, the team have a strong focus on sustainability.
**The Role**
We currently have a rare and exciting **part time **position available for an educator with a **completed **Certificate III qualification.
This role will see you working **Monday to Friday, 3 hours per day (15 hours per week) in an afternoon shift.**

**To be considered for this role, it is essential you have**:
- A recognised Certificate III in Children's Services qualification or similar as approved by Australian Children's Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)
- A valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check
- Current Child Protection training and knowledge of Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
- Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF, Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
