Overview
Workforce International are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Production Labourer to join our client's team, located in Welshpool, and assist with the cutting, cold forging and threading of rebar.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 6am/2:30pm, Friday 6am/12pm (overtime may be available)
Responsibilities
* Operate machinery and equipment to cut and cold forge rebar according to specifications
* Use an overhead crane to maneuver rebar safely and efficiently (all training provided, and a Verification of Competency (VOC) will be issued)
* Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment
* Assist in loading/unloading materials and transporting them within the production area
* Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to the supervisor
* Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Production Labourer (experience with steel highly regarded)
* Current Forklift Licence (desirable)
* Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks
* Access to reliable transport
* Ability to successfully complete a basic math assessment
