The Role: A Day in the Life of an Occupational Therapist
* Manage diverse customer presentations across aged care funding areas, including Home Care Packages and Commonwealth Home Support Program, providing comprehensive support services tailored to individual needs.
* Support customers in achieving daily living, mobility, and community participation goals through collaborative assessments and therapy plans.
* Conduct thorough assessments and develop customized therapy plans, taking into account each customer's unique circumstances.
* Collaborate with clients, families, carers, and professionals for holistic care, ensuring seamless transitions and consistent support.
* Maintain up-to-date skills through professional development opportunities, staying current on best practices and industry advancements.
Requirements for Success
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA, demonstrating commitment to ongoing professional growth and adherence to industry standards.
* Practical experience or extensive knowledge in OT Services, preferably in Rehabilitation and/or Aged Care settings, highlighting adaptability and expertise in various contexts.
* Effective interpersonal, communication, organisation, and time management skills, enabling seamless collaboration and efficient service delivery.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, fostering strong relationships and promoting effective teamwork.
* First Aid and CPR certificate, valid driver's licence, and willingness to use your own insured vehicle for work purposes, ensuring safe and reliable transportation.
