Major Road Infrastructure & Disaster Recovery Projects | SEQ
Our client, a leading national engineering consultancy, is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their Contract Administration team delivering major road and disaster recovery infrastructure projects across Southeast Queensland.
This role offers a mix of office and site exposure, supporting multiple infrastructure programs before being seconded to site during construction phases.
The Work
Projects include major road and reconstruction programs such as:
* Geotechnical slip remediation
* Piling and slope stabilisation
* Pavement realignment and upgrades
* Drainage and flood recovery works
* TIC-CO and D&C contract environments
Upcoming projects are located across South East Queensland, including potential works along the Mount Lindesay Highway corridor and other regional infrastructure programs.
The Role
Working alongside Contract Administrators and Inspectors, you will:
* Undertake site inspections and QA checks
* Review contractor plans and documentation
* Ensure works comply with TMR specifications
* Support construction phase contract administration
* Coordinate with contractors and project teams
Requirements
* 3-5+ years' experience on road infrastructure projects
* Strong understanding of TMR specifications
* SECO2 TMR pre‐qualification or eligible are sought after
* Experience across earthworks, pavements and drainage
* Exposure to TIC‐CO or D&C contract environments
* RPEQ desirable but not essential.
* DRFA experience beneficial but not required.
