**Your new role**
Reporting to the Group Digital Content Manager, your role as a Digital Content Executive will see you be responsible for the content build and delivery of the national website uplift project.
This role works very closely with the wider Marketing teams and business units across states, to ensure content and campaign integration with a focus on creating an optimal user experience and driving revenue and engagement through our digital channels. This role also works closely with the internal IT and Business Solutions teams on support and maintenance of our digital assets and UAT, as well as the Digital SEO Agency to ensure our digital assets are optimised from an organic search perspective
Responsibilities
- Content population and delivery for the website uplift project
- Work with internal marketing stakeholders across various states to ensure content and campaigns are integrated across all relevant digital channels
- Work with an external SEO agency to continually optimise the websites to ensure improvement in Google ranking, leading to increased traffic and revenue for the organisation
- Work closely with in-house UX team on content placement and hierarchy to optimise user experience
- Utilise insights and analytics to input into content planning and provide recommendations
- Plan, brief and execute content for existing digital assets across the various states, and future technology to support campaigns
- Maintain content calendar for website uplift project
- Input into content and campaign plans by providing detailed information of digital support per campaign
- Keep up to date with the latest content trends, innovation and technology changes
- Liaising with IT and Business Solutions teams for CMS maintenance and updates to improve user experience and performance
- Support the IT team, business solutions team and product manager by inputting into technical updates and new features to our digital assets including UAT and feedback
- Develop relationships with key business unit representatives across various states to ensure alignment on campaigns delivered
- Develop relationships and work closely with external digital agencies on optimisation and creative initiatives
- Utilise Google Analytics to generate insights which can be implemented by the team to improve website performance and user experience
- Provide ad hoc website and mobile app reports when they are requested
- Raise purchase orders and place requests as required
- Track and monitor expenditure against budget
**What you'll need to succeed**
- You have a degree of marketing, communication, business or other relevant degree
- 2-5 years digital marketing experience
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience in managing content in a CMS with interchangeable programs (i.e. WordPress + Shopify)
- Experience and understanding in all digital areas - website and app management and usability, online marketing, Google analytics, optimised content
- Advanced computer knowledge
