About the Role
This is a people-focused role where you will often be the first point of contact for our patients —playing a key role in delivering a smooth, professional, and welcoming experience.
Your ability to communicate effectively, stay organised, and bring a positive attitude to the team will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome and assist patients in person and over the phone
* Manage appointments, scheduling, and confirmations
* Process payments and maintain accurate billing records
* Maintain and update patient records and data entry
* Support clinicians with administrative tasks
* Reconcile end-of-day accounts
* Ensure reception and waiting areas are clean, tidy, and professional

Position Details
* Type: Part Time
* Hours: Approximately 19 hours per week
* Roster: Afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday
* Additional hours available from time to time for leave coverage
About You
Essential:
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to multitask in a busy environment
* Reliable, proactive, and a team player
* Professional presentation
Desirable:
* Previous experience in a medical or allied health setting
* Experience with practice management software
* Confidence handling payments and accounts
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
