Job Description:
As a Mechanical Fitter at Flip Screen Australia, you will play a pivotal role in the assembly, maintenance and repair of our industry-leading screening attachments. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will be crucial in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assembly: Precisely assemble and disassemble mechanical components and screening attachments.
* Installation: Install, align and calibrate screening equipment on heavy machinery.
* Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections to detect and address mechanical issues proactively.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet our stringent quality standards.
* Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, promoting a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role in heavy machinery or industrial equipment.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with various hand and power tools.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
* In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Education and Certification:
* Vocational or technical training in mechanical fitting or a related field is preferred.
* A current forklift licence is required.
