$125,000 - $138,000 package (base+super)
Overview
This highly regarded nonprofit is seeking to recruit their new Finance Manager to join their leadership team. Reporting to the COO, the role is responsible for leadership across all aspects of the Finance function, including forecasting, financial reporting (Board and regulatory change), budgeting, financial control and establishing strong internal control and principles. You will also be confident partnering with external bodies including ATO, Australian Charities & Not-for-Profit Commission (ACNC) and Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and ensuring reporting adheres to the highest standard.
Leadership of a small team is also required, so a passion for development and empowering others is essential. Your financial and accounting experience will be from a not-for-profit/for-purpose organisation where purpose, respect and excellence are as important as sound financial guidance. A confident communicator and influencer, you will thrive in for-purpose organisations and enjoy establishing good financial practices. An ability to implement change with empathy and respect and engage stakeholders on the change journey is also required.
A Commerce/Accounting related degree combined with several years accounting/finance experience, preferably from not-for-profit or for-purpose organisations, is required. The role is ideal for someone stepping up to their first accounting leadership role or a more experienced professional seeking to consolidate their values and skills within a smaller, nimble not-for-profit organisation.
If this sounds like the next career move and aligns to your values and ambitions, we'd love to hear from you
