Salary: Level 7 - $139,860 to $149,485 pa + superannuation - PSCSAA 2024

Work type: Fixed Term - Full Time, Fixed Term - Part Time, Permanent - Full Time, Permanent - Part Time

Do you enjoy undertaking research and analysis, using a range of analytical tools and techniques to produce quality reports?

In this position you will be part of the Forensic Audit team, conducting detailed examinations to identify vulnerabilities to, and potential indicators of, suspected fraud or misconduct in public sector entities.

The Forensic Audit team plays an important role in providing Parliament and the community with detailed examinations and analysis of targeted aspects of public sector financial management, probity, and fraud resilience, including fraud risk management, and recommending improvements in compliance with legislation, public sector policies, and accepted good practice.

The Forensic Audit team may also work in consultation with other integrity agencies where further investigation is required.

You will lead forensic audits by undertaking reviews and research to assess, analyse and combine data to contribute to the drafting of a professional report with recommendations, to be presented to Parliament.

We currently have one full time, 12-month fixed term position available, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

We are establishing a recruitment pool for full or part time, permanent and fixed term vacancies that arise until 31 December 2026. Fixed term appointments may have the possibility of permanency.
