About the opportunity
Undertake, support, and manage the full procurement lifecycle for assigned infrastructure and construction categories, encompassing planning, market engagement, tendering, negotiation, contract formation, management and close-out.
Ensure procurement and contract management activities align with internal frameworks, governance requirements and best-practice standards, delivering strategic and operational outcomes that support organisational priorities.
Develop and implement category strategies that optimise value, mitigate risk and enhance supplier performance. Partner with key stakeholders to define scopes of work, establish evaluation criteria and determine commercial and contractual terms.
Monitor contractor performance, ensuring adherence to KPIs, timelines, cost targets and quality standards. Provide commercial and contractual advice to project teams, supporting dispute resolution, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage supplier relationships to strengthen collaboration, transparency and accountability across multiple projects and work programs. Contribute to the refinement of procurement processes and reporting frameworks to improve efficiency and visibility of outcomes.
About you
Ideally seeking an experienced procurement professional with a background in infrastructure, civil or marine construction projects, and a proven ability to manage complex, high-risk contracts within a public-sector or client-side environment.
You will have strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and analytical skills, coupled with tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Commerce, Engineering or a related discipline.
