 
        
        MRGRENDERING PTY LTD is seeking a skilled and motivated Solid Plasterer to join our dynamic team. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to develop your craft within a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will report directly to the site supervisor daily.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Assess partitions to determine plaster layout
 * Measure, mark, and cut materials to precise dimensions
 * Create incisions for window openings, install insulation, and apply adhesives to partitions
 * Lift, position, and secure plasterboard to walls, battens, or ceilings using appropriate tools (nails, screws, etc.)
 * Fit and install mouldings as required
 * Seal all joins and screws with a sealing compound and smooth surfaces using sandpaper or power sanders
 * Utilize hand tools such as Stanley knives, hammers, tape measures, levels, hand trowels, sanding blocks, hand saws, and screwdrivers (familiarity with these tools is advantageous)
 * Ensure fireproofing materials are properly bonded with plaster and other materials where necessary
 * Determine plasterboard layout, install insulation and vapor barriers
 * Prepare and secure corner beads, fix pre-cast cornices, panel moldings, and ceiling centers
 * Cover joins and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds, smoothing with wet brushes and sandpaper
 * Mix and apply coats of plaster, cement, and render to structures, leveling and smoothing to uniform thickness
 * Plumb and straighten corners, angles, and wall and ceiling surfaces
 * Create decorative textures in finishing coats
 * Apply and finish acoustic, insulating, and fireproofing materials bonded with plaster or plastic cement
 * Install, test, and adjust electric and mechanical components of lifts
 * Install Foam and Hebel
Qualifications & Skills:
 * AQF Certificate III or IV in Solid Plastering or a related field

 * Qualification by RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning)

Pay: $73,150.00 – $85,000.00 per year
