Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) - Perinatal Mental Health
An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse Consultant to join the Department of Health's Community, Mental Health & Wellbeing team.

Key Responsibilities:
* Providing free and confidential specialist mental health assessments and treatment plans for women experiencing or at risk of developing moderate to severe mental health symptoms up until the infant is 12 months old.
* Offering face-to-face appointments at various locations including clinics, hospitals, community health centres, and at home, with telehealth appointments also available.
Team Dynamics:
We are a multidisciplinary team consisting of perinatal specialists, including Consultant Psychiatrists, Registrars/Career Medical Officers, and Perinatal Mental Health Clinicians (Registered Nurses, Allied Health Professionals).
Requirements:
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience within mental health services, focusing on perinatal and infant mental health clinical practice.
* Understanding of psychiatric disorders occurring in the perinatal period and appropriate treatments.
* Knowledge of factors affecting an infant's emotional, social, cognitive, and behavioural development.
Appointment Details:
This is a fixed-term full-time position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for approximately six months. Hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $114,851 to $121,886 per annum, with an 11.5% superannuation contribution on top of this amount. Eligible candidates will also have access to benefits such as professional development opportunities, leave entitlements, and a fitness passport.
