About the Role
The Alumni and Development Coordinator role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to community engagement initiatives by developing relationships with alumni and existing partners to support our programs and research.
Curtin alumni are individuals who have completed their studies at Curtin University and have moved on to pursue careers or further education. They form a valuable network of graduates across the globe who have benefited from their time at Curtin and are vital stakeholders who can contribute to supporting the University's mission and vision.
We're seeking a creative and dedicated individual to collaborate on various exciting projects, instrumental in the development and delivery of flagship alumni engagement activities including the Alumni Awards and Young Alumni programs.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing, implementing, and managing programs, including alumni engagement activities, communications, annual giving, and/or bequests, as required, to drive the alumni and community relations strategy
* Ensuring all work is focused on building an engaged alumni community and increasing alumni and staff donor participation
* Developing effective communication plans and writing purposeful communications across various platforms for target audiences
* Proactively working to build and nurture strong relationships with alumni and stakeholders through one-to-one and mass engagement
* Contributing to University Advancement goals, adopting best practice standards, and adhering to relevant policies and procedures
