About the Role
Our Work Health & Safety team is expanding, and we are seeking a permanent, full-time WHS Business Partner to join our growing department.
As one of our WHS Business Partners you will work in partnership with the organisation to develop and implement health and safety solutions, policies, and programs in alignment with legislative requirements.
Your primary focus will be to promote and support a culture of safety for all council employees through providing best practice advice on Work Health and Safety initiatives and processes. You will undertake incident investigations, assist in the development of corrective and preventative WHS actions, and support injury management and return to work.
A key focus of your role will also include delivering and implementing organisation wide initiatives to assist Council.
About You
To be successful in this role you will hold qualifications in Work Health & Safety and/or equivalent industry experience.
Having previously worked in a similar role you will possess thorough knowledge of WHS legislation in NSW and have the capability to assist Council in meeting its WHS objectives.
You will enjoy working on a variety of projects and initiatives and have a broad understanding of managing a range of safety risks across a variety of environments, including high risk work sites.
Benefits
This is a permanent full-time role, working 35 hours per week with a salary commencing at $111,958 - $124,273 per year based on demonstrated experience + 12 % p.a. super + private leaseback vehicle.
