Industrial Painting Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Industrial Painter/Blaster to join our workforce in the Northern Territory.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to work on various industrial painting projects. Our ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of different painting techniques, coatings, and equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare surfaces by thoroughly cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as required
* Apply high-quality industrial coatings using spray guns, rollers, or brushes
* Mix and match paints and coatings according to specifications
* Inspect surfaces for defects and ensure a smooth, even finish
* Safely operate and maintain painting equipment
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in industrial painting or a similar role with a strong track record of delivering quality results
2. EWP + 11m high-risk work license
3. Confined space entry and working heights certification (within the last 3 years)
4. Knowledge of different painting techniques, coatings, and equipment
5. A commitment to maintaining a clean-shaven appearance for fit mask testing purposes
6. Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality
7. Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions, including heights and confined spaces
